One day I was travelling. A man came up to me and asked:
”Is it alright if I test your learning?”
”Good”
”Have you seen a Golden Crow flying in the dark night?”
”I haven’t seen a Golden Crow yet.”
”Then your learning is incomplete.”
”Does a Golden Crow exist in the world?”
Hearing this the person became angry and left. I often talk about what happened that day.
”The blind cannot see the world of the man with his eyes open and the man with open eyes cannot see the things a blind man sees.”
I explained this thing like this:
”People without truth pass on something or answer by making words. But the Enlightened Being asks having seen what exists and answers having seen what exists. The value of every teaching is in it’s truthfulness.”
